McKenna's Friend

~This is what I've gotten from research. None of it is neccesarily true!~

Either Josie or Jane*, J will be short-haired blonde and what appears to be green eyes which would make sense since there's one blonde with green eyes and that one has bangs. This actress has bangs, but we all know that could be easily changed for the movie. In the following picture the wheelchair-bound J has no bangs. So should we go off the book illustrations or an actress' haircut? I say the book! Here is what I'm assuming from my reasearch:

Josie*
-Light skin (both)
-Green eyes (actress)
-Blonde, short-haired (both), no bangs (book)
-Wheelchair-bound (book)

*I think Jane was the psuedonym for Josie just like Velma was for McKenna. I like Jane more though...

New pictures of McKenna! This first one is of her bed and her pj's and possibly her little dog, too! (shout-out to anyone who actually got that!) The next shows her in her meet outfit- a striped tunic, cropped leggings and a pair of cute matching shoes. The third is similar to the catalogue version, just without print. The fourth is an illustration from McKenna showing her in a outfit that has been suspected to be in her collection and her friend and tutor, Jane/Josie in her wheelchair.

IMPORTANT NEWS TO POTENTIAL BUYERS: McKenna, and all other dolls, will be $105 starting January 1st. Buy any doll(s) you want by December 31 to save some money!!!
Why would AG would do this to us? Money. Their sales raised 6.3% in the first 9 months from 2010-2011. They realized that people were still buying the dolls even though they raised their prices. So they're experimenting again. And I can almost soundly assure you that their prices will continue to rise to unreachable heights.

Upset with myself...

While Christmas was great and all, I didn't finish the doll outfits in time AND I didn't finish the Christmas AGSM. I do have completely valid excuses for both but I'm not going to bore you with them. What you should get from this update: the Christmas AGSM WILL be up on 12/28/11 no further excuses and hopefully I can finish the doll outfits so I can show you all what I got for Christmas! Plenty of videos on the way- I just had to get through the Christmas holiday. Thanks all for not bothering me with, "Where's the Christmas AGSM?!"

The New Year is approaching quickly! I can't wait for even more pictures of the 2012 GOTY collection! =D (I had to put at least ONE smiley!)

Late Christmas SM... and other Christmas stuff..

I'm STILL editing the stupid thing. It is by far the longest SM I have EVER done! I think it's my best, too so hopefully it's worth the wait!
Also- American Girl had mentioned releasing more info about the GOTY dolls after Christmas which it is now. Yes- I said DOLLS. Plural. Her wheelchair-bound friend is coming to life as well! I'm excited. I'm pretty sure I'm at least getting one of them. Oh the anticipation...
As for AG christmas presents, nothing new except the two outfits you saw me accidentally open for Cécile AND a cute AG doll tee boutique set! It has a little stage and mirror and everything. There will be a quick video showing that. Yes- that is the only AG stuff I got for Christmas. Normally I don't get anything AG so it was nice. :)
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! Mine was okay- we didn't get any snow... I don't remember that EVER happening before. :C

Finally! Winter Break!

I'm so excited!!! I have some videos planned and I'm going to make some beautiful outfits and enjoy Christmas! I'll probably be posting every other day or so over break so check back about that often. :)

McKenna: Girl of the Year 2012!

So- as far as I know, the first picture of the GOTY 2012 doll was released today, Dec. 20! Here are pictures:

I think she's kinda cute, even though I don't like her lips. I don't like any of the dolls with those lips (Marie-Grace, Julie, Rebecca, etc.).

Winter break is almost here! =D

Okay- once I make it through Thursday, there will hopefully be more videos! I'm planning on doing a Christmas SM, a Doll Update SM, an AGMV, and a few entries for LJC's contest. It depends on how busy I am since I have to sew 4 Bitty Baby outfits for my little cousins' presents. Time is quickly running out before Christmas and I feel a little stressed. Soooo, my plate is full and I'm trying to get everything done ASAP so I can have time to relax, drink hot cocoa, make cookies, and maybe even do some sledding!

BTW- I might make a video showing the outfits I sewed!

I have a lot of schoolwork that I have to focus on this week, as usual. It's just that I have something to do after school hours every day this week which is pretty unusual. So, the video that I planned on uploading yesterday may not be uploaded 'til after Friday. :(

REALLY BUSY... Hate sickness!

Trying to make up all the schoolwork I missed. I missed EVERY DAY last week! NOT fun. So yeah, I'm basically really busy right now and super stressed. And now I have to go start all my homework for tonight and some make-up work. I CANNOT wait for this weekend! My. life. is. CRAZINESS!!! :|

I have a fever! I can't stop coughing and my throat hurts. :'C
I don't have enough energy to make/edit a video or even brush my dolls' hair. Hopefully I can upload my photoshoot that I have done already! I was just waiting to upload it... So yeah- that's what's up.

Busy for the moment... and 70 sub-ers! =D

Okay, so I won't be on very often for a little bit. I'll still try and watch everybody's videos, but just not as often because I'm really busy! :) Thanks everyone for not getting worried/upset/whatever when I wasn't on at all for two days. It seriously felt like a whole WEEK went by!
Anyways, thank you all for 70 sub-ers! OMG! I never thought it would happen this fast! WOW! I remember 4 months ago when I had 3 sub-ers! Lol, that was LONG ago (not really!). Haha, so thanks to my wonderful sub-ers for being loyal. :D

Okay, so I'm working on an AG music video right now! I'm hoping that will be finished sometime next weekend. Also, I'll be uploading some simple AG updates like "doll room tour" and "all of my AG dolls". But for now, enjoy my eBay Shopping Spree videos! :)

Back from AGP!

OMG! I'm back! Guess what... I GOT ALYSSA!!! I know- I didn't expect it! My aunt gave me some money for my birthday so I was able to get her! Yipee! I got lots of other stuff, too, so i'll make a video of all of it!

Not getting Alyssa :(

I can if I really want to, but since I'm already getting Elaine, I think it will be more practical to get clothes since i haven't gone shopping in months. I've been saving up for AG stuff! I'm asking for Alyssa for Christmas. I'm still getting Elaine, Kit's School Skirt set, Cozy Sweater outfit, and hangers. I know you're probably thinking, "What about the Everyday Play Outfit?" and you're right. I haven't yet decided if I'm going to get that, a different outfit, or just random store exclusives. We'll all just have to wait and see. :)
